Contest #4 FFBE

It's a crisp, cool, sunny Sunday in October - the sky is clear, there's a bit of a breeze, and the leaves have already started to change. How would you spend your day to best celebrate and enjoy the season? Are you at home curled up with tea and a book and a window open to enjoy the breeze? Do you head out on a long drive and hike through the mountains to see the trees? Go find pumpkins and colored corn to decorate? Tell us about your special day!
My favorite kind of fall weekend day -- is to go to one of the local farms with my husband and pick-out pumpkins and gourds for the house. We have a blast arguing over which pumpkins will be the best for carving and picking out apples, gourds, corns, etc. for the house. It a bit of nip in the air and sun shinning. Then, we will go home and have a pumpkin carving contest!

Our favorite way to enjoy the season is taking Amanda to Stokoe farms. We'll climb the hay tower, go down the long slide and get lost in the corn maze. Then we'll take the tractor ride to the pumpkins. After walking around and changing our minds about 10 times we finally pick out a couple of perfect pumpkins and take the tractor back.

Sounds fantastic...just don't forget to take some time out for HSKS3 trivia, today's the day and Gryffindor needs 100% and the snitch - let's go!

Cheer, cheer for Old Gryffindor
Wake up the House Elves cheering for more,
Catch the Golden Snitch on high,
Cheer down the Bludgers from the sky,
What though the odds be great or small
Gryffindor Lions will win over all,
While our loyal Seeker's flying Onward to Victory

For the necklace loops I take a 2-2 1/2" headpin and cut off the flat end with wire cutters.

I then make one loop with my round nose pliers and wrap the loop. Add your beads and then turn the headpin upside down. Make a second loop with your round nose pliers and wrap the headpin as close to the bead as you can. (Unless you want space in between the beads).

I then take my wire cutters and cut the excess as short as I can. Take a pair of flat nose pliers, and crunch down the end. Then take the round nose pliers and push the wraps down as tight as possible.

That's all there is to it. But maybe I will do a tutorial so people can see it better.

Thanks for the comment, come by anytime! :)
