Socks & Neat Tools

I ordered a really neat tool from Scout's Swag. I'm always looking for a easy way to keep track of where I am in a pattern - particularly when carting projects around. They are called pattern tamers and come in a variety of sizes. It's a super duty magnetic strip with pretty ribbon. I love them! I may make some of my own if I can find some good magnets.

I made some progress on my RPM socks (AKA Cat Puke Colorway) - I finished the first sock and started on the second. Still hate the color - but the sock feels lovely.

I also started my March STR sock club package --- I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT IT! The pattern, color, fit, etc. I made some modifications once past the cuff and first two repeats to decrease the size to fit the lower portion of my calf better, but it's working well. I can't wait to see how the heel flap/gusset increases come together. It's a totally new sock architecture for me.

I saved the best news for last. I am a new Auntie - take a look at our new munchkin:

We are headed home to visit the new addition to the family this weekend. I can't wait!

Lovely socks - they look great, even if you don't like the colorway. ☺ Those magnets are a great idea - clever Scout!
